La Source is a unique adventure travel and alternative ski holiday company that has been running hugely impactful trips since 2007. Set up and run by Saskia Anley, ex-Outward Bound Instructor, Yoga Teacher and filmmaker, La Source runs great value, unique, healthy and inspiring  ski, yoga, family, and multi adventure holidays in The French Alps.

Founded on principles of community, sustainability, inter-connection,  personal growth, and a Joie de Vivre, La Source’s family activity holidays, budget family ski holidays and yoga retreats are designed to enable you to tune into your own beat and just  ‘be’!

In addition to our catered adventure holidays we organise exceptional value tailor-made group holidays for schools, children’s homes, universities and families in the Alps throughout the year.

La Source Our Summer Family Adventure and Family Activity weeks will be running on the weeks of the 17th and the 24th of September from ‘The Best Eco-Lodge in the Alps’, The Guardian.

This is the original La Source Eco Lodge where it all began! We bought this farm in 2006 and renovated it with a crew of wonderful builders from around the world. We started the day with yoga at 7am, worked hard all day, played hard; climbed and biked in the evenings, and we all cooked and ate together. The builders were craftsmen who believed in ecological design and the results were fantastic. We dubbed ourselves ‘The Commune’ and the many of the crew stayed on long after the building was open to the public, as chef, and hosts, and drivers.

We ran our holidays and retreats in the spirit of ‘the commune’. Our guests became part of our extended family for the week and often came back a couple of times a season! The Guardian and Times ran articles on us, and we were the busiest chalet in the Valley with guests staying on long after the traditional summer and winter seasons had ended.

After 3 fantastic full-on years, the Eco-Lodge was bought be a private family. La Source, Green Adventure Retreats continued to run holidays and retreats from a range of fabulous Alpine venues. La Source, Eco-Lodge is occasionally open to the public, and we have let it for 2 weeks this summer… So come and join us!

Our Family Activity week is a Catered Holiday (you pay for all of your own activities). It costs £495 for childen and £595 for adults!

Our Family Adventure Week includes 4 fully hosted and organised activity days including donkey trekking and an overnight in a mountain refuge. It costs £680 for children and £790  for adults. DISCOUNTED TILL the 5th of MAY to £630 and  £730!

We all stay and eat together at La Source.

We are hiring this fabulous and very French Outdoor Centre in Buet, Vallorcine just for us.
and what is the catch?
You have to share a dorm with your children! Dorms are EN SUITE and have 3 to 6 beds.
And you have to be OPEN MINDED and GO FOR IT and try yoga or dance at least once! And you have to want to get to know other people – the loveliest people from all over the world.
