‘We want La Source to be a base for life-changing courses and experiential adventures that encourage people to tap into their Source and reach their potential! Our philosophy is that we are all intrinsically linked; to each other, our environment, all living things and the universe. Our ‘reality’ is usually governed by our heritage, upbringing, 5 senses and 3 dimensional perception but REALITY is immensely greater with unlimited potential!’

Saskia Anley, Founder, La Source

The Philosophy

La Source offers holistic adventure sports, ski and yoga holidays that inspire a respect for the environment and self. The philosophy behind all of our holidays and retreats is sustainability, adventure, the great outdoors, healthy living, positive change, space to ‘be’,  good energy, community and natural wholesome food!

Our courses are open to everyone; families, single parent families, couples, groups of friends and we also have many solo guests. La Source started as  a ‘Commune’ and we really nurture that feeling on our retreats and holidays. You can read about our roots in the Blog!

We choose our locations for their energy and natural beauty. We want people to walk out of the door, take a deep breath, and remember that life is an amazing thing! Our locations also offer a lot of opportunities for adventure, new sports and activities.

We use different accommodation providers according to the retreat or holiday.  Standards vary according to the cost of the course. We are less into ‘glam’ than ‘grass roots’. It is the experience which is important to us. We choose places that are accessible, practical and have a good feel. We try to make our holidays accessible and inclusive. We will always provide photos of the location when you enquire so you know where you will be staying.

The food is a very important part of your stay. We choose our chefs and menu’s carefully and work with locals where possible. We try to source as much as possible from local and organic sources. The food is wholesome, fresh, healthy and delicious! In the summer our meals are mostly vegetarian. In the winter, we always have a meat option. We cater for everyone and ask everyone about their dietary requirements in the booking form.

Physical activity is a really important part of everyone’s stay whether you join the yoga classes, go all out training for a triathlon or just take a little walk every day.

We encourage everyone to take time to ‘be’. Yoga, meditation, relaxation, dance, adventure sports, walking and being in the mountains or by the lochs and rivers  is all just away to help bring you beyond the mind to your Source.
